A call to arms

When they see us they will run for their lives

To the end they will pay for their lies

So long did we wait, now we are home

Here once again there's a battle to fight

Gather together for the sound and the might

So long did we wait, now we are home

Now we will fight for the kingdom, fighting with steel

Kill all of them, their blood is our seal

Fight till the last of the enemy is dead

Ride through their blood that we gladly have shed

I now issue the call, are you ready to fight - yeah

Fight altogether as one for the right

To be free once again - tonight we will win

I can see by the look that you have in your eyes

You came here for metal, to fight and to die

Defenders of steel, now we are home

Fight for the kingdom bound for glory

Armed with a heart of steel

I swear by the brothers who stand before me

To no man shall I kneel

Then blood is upon my steel

"Is it a rebellion?" asked Louis XVI of the count who informed him of the fall of the Bastille.

"No, sire," came the reply. "It is a revolution."

It looks like you don't care for people posting multiple items relating to the ever-growing discontent toward the gov't. Personally, I don't care what others think. I stand by my beliefs and values and know what I will be doing if the country does go down the perverbial toilet. It's obvious that you are an avid gun enthusiast or you wouldn't here.

I was just curious about your comment, nothing more.

I could care less what everyone's stance on the gov't is. But we all know where we stand. No need to constantly start new threads on it. It gets old. Maybe thats just me.

Why it is in this area and not elsewhere. And the way the stuff is rolling downhill, bajillion may not be enough.

“Each of you, for himself, by himself and on his own responsibility, must speak. And it is a solemn and weighty responsibility, and not lightly to be flung aside at the bullying of pulpit, press, government, or the empty catchphrases of politicians. Each must for himself alone decide what is right and what is wrong, and which course is patriotic and which isn't. You cannot shirk this and be a man. To decide against your convictions is to be an unqualified and inexcusable traitor, both to yourself and to your country, let man label you as they may. If you alone of all the nation shall decide one way, and that way be the right way according to your convictions of the right, you have done your duty by yourself and by your country- hold up your head! You have nothing to be ashamed of.”

- Mark Twain

And there is no reason to question anyone's patriotism on this board. Some of us tend to be a little more verbose than others at times.

That said, I am quite afraid that the time is fast approaching where, to quote the great Benjamin Franklin, "We must, indeed, all hang together, or most assuredly we shall all hang separately."

Perhaps nraforlife should change his name to thomaspaine.

No complaints here. It helps remind me I am not the only one who feels that way.

I don't have a problem with it either. Don't really understand why anyone would. If one is tired of this type of post don't read it.

I have a wish. I wish that every elected official in DC could hear the collective sound of every gun owner in America working the actions of their pistols (and closing the chambers on their revolvers) . It should take about 5 minutes for the cacophony to settle down.

Only when they can observe the strength in our numbers can they fully appreciate the militia. If these guys just had a little fear in their gut they would behave differently when it comes time to represent us.

Strength in numbers? Sorry, but that's only part of the battle. Those numbers have to be well-coordinated and have a plan. And I just don't see that happening any time in the foreseeable future.

Besides, I can't see any number of people, no matter how large that number might be, armed only with light weapons, really being a match for the resources the government could and probably would bring to bear if you scare 'em bad enough.

Nope... we're gonna have to win this war through peaceful means or not at all, I think.

I have no problem with it either. If you don't like the post don't read, and don't post in the thread. It is that simple.

This reminds me of the people who tried there hardest to get Howard Stern off the radio, and all they had to do was turn the station.

Being a patriot is doing what he is doing.

Blindly following orders given from the gooberment, is slavery.

First off my speaking out against our government is one of my first amendment rights.

If the government can try to convert our Republic to a democracy by controlling the education process, Then we should all speak out.

If the government can try to alter the people in to believing that our constitutional values are no longer pertinent in the new world society then we should all speak out.

When our government pushes an agenda for democratic governments around the world and in our own nation then yes I and all of us that believe in the constitution should and must speak out.

For those that do not want to read or like what I or anyone else on this board posts, then by all means do not read the post.

Wow, Me thinks history proves you wrong. And history does repeat its self.

But you are certainly entitled to your view point.

The assumption that people would be armed only with light weapons probably isn't a good one to make. Funny how high powered high end weapons end up in the hands of the Taliban and others isn't it? If we cannot keep drugs coming up from Mexico do you not think that if the market wants it that AK's and other stuff will not come up the same way?

There are plenty of threads on TGO that don't interest me. I just don't click on them.

Try it, it works.

I'm happy folks are getting riled up about what's (been) happening in DC (for years). It's about time we made ourselves heard.

I'll second that. The more we speak out the better for our country. I want us to go back to a Republican form of government. I would prefer that this could and would happen in a peaceful manner. At this point I have very little faith that it could or would happen in that way.
