Coal Creek Armory Lots of new staff?

Was in Coal Creek this past Saturday and it looked like pretty much all new staff in there. Big turnover or just time for a change ya suppose? Seemed a bit friendlier to me. I've stopped going there since they didn't seem to put any money into the range area and were more interested in selling to the high speed/low drag tacticool crowd. I was in looking for a Brommeland holster since they're just about the only stocking dealer around.

Well, we can certainly hope this is the case. I am not saying that their cusotmer service was bad in the past, but there were places it could definitely use some improvement.

We have turned over roughly 80% of our staff in the past 120 days. I got tired of hearing about having staff members who weren't interested in working but more about being "seen."

We put thousands of dollars into the range every month. It's hard to keep it looking new since there are people shooting guns every minute we're open, but we're trying to stay ahead of the curve.

time wasting eventually turns into spending, more times that not for me

sounds very pro-active to me, considering what complaints here have regarded.

I am going to have to stop in one of these days even though it is no where near where I am.

JWP - I was at CCA yesterday (sat 2/21) with my wife and one of her female friends who wants to buy/learn to shoot a pistol. I wanted to thank your staff for being so friendly and helpful. Even though both of the ladies had never been into a gun store they had a great time and felt completely comfortable with the store/staff/range/etc. They have already talked about coming back to the range on a Tue night sometime so I'm sure we'll see you all again. I had never been there before your recent changes but whatever was done must have worked. Thanks,

Eric

I stopped in for a few minutes while in town earlier this week (wed evening) and the staff was very outgoing and all seemed to be engaging customers better than I had ever seen in there.

The worst thing that can happen to a good retailer, no matter what they sell, is to have bad employees.

Yeah, I thought a few people looked new. I did recognize a couple of guys that helped me buy a Sig back in 2005. I wonder if that was JWP?

I don't know what's sadder. The fact that you reference that song, or the fact that I actually know who Todd Rundgren is.Not personally of course:snore::ugh::rofl:

I don't think he was speaking of the former Utopia leader(yeah, my misspent youth was in the music biz), but rather the drums that make the engine turn.

War drums. And where were you Saturday? You aren't allowed to leave the store, you know that. I picked up some Bersa magazines. Thanks for ordering them.

I was out buying up several estates worth of guns to pass along to the faithful!

That and laughing at some Harley riders.
