Personally I conceal my weapon all of the time. Sometimes I use a OWB holster, but I wear a jacket or pull a shirt over it. Am I ashamed to carry a handgun...no. Do I want the additional attention and potential to be the first target if the SHTF...NO. I want to be the one with a surprise in a bad situation. Timing is everything.

Before I got my CCP's I OC'ed every day (the state of NC allows OC w/o a permit). It definitely got me some unneeded attention a couple times, but usually I was incognito most of the time with it. The only people that really noticed it were the people who knew I did it.

I guess you could say a revolver on my hip was just as good as a CCP badge...

I'd NEVER wear one of those stupid badges. The last thing I'd want is to be mistaken for a cop. Wiseguy or goodfella, maybe, but certainly not a cop.

The movie actually isn't horrible in a Matrix kinda entertainment value way, but you have to completely shut your brain off to even fathom watching it.

Back to original post. There are just too many different badges out there to outlaw anybody carrying a badge. In some school ditricts crossing guards wear badges, and they look more official than the ones worn by the THP!

I personally won't wear or carry one because I don't want anybody to think I am an LEO and have to depend on me when I may not legally be able to deliver. I'm a private citizen not an LEO, and at this point in life (retired) I am happy it is that way.
