I have 4 BC steel lipped ones, none were particularly reliable; between the silicone and shooting copper coated rounds, I've put at least 300 flawless through each one now. One I half melted using an blaster cleaner with acetone, and even it works.

Guy who first recommended this says you will have to do it every x number of rounds, waiting to have failures before I do it again.
