I'm not sure if this has been mentioned (I couldn't find it here) but Range USA in Memphis will reopen with a new name and new owners.  Jay Hill of Classic Arms and Ben Ferguson have invested in the site and plan to open the range this Friday September 27th.  I hope to get over there soon to see it.  If this has already been posted somewhere, I'm sorry.

Ben mentioned this on his show the other day and I remembered the name but he didn't say where it was at, I believe he also said they had some full- autos you could rent.

They had full autos when it was Range USA-I know cause I was the armorer there for almost 2 years. The full autos never really rented that well-when a full auto Glock runs at 1200 rpm it can use a lot of ammo in a hurry.

We had a full auto AR15 in 9mm-a Sterling-MP5-and a Glock 17 with a buzz kit in a Micro Roni stock.

Yeah Ben is part owner.    The restaurant will reopen as Ben Ferguson's BBQ.   And they have 12 full auto firearms for rent.  I know its 12 because they are advertising relentlessly that they have TWELVE full auto firearms.

I'm not a huge fan of indoor ranges for various reasons, but I plan to visit, mainly because I like Jay Hill and Ben Ferguson.  I regard indoor ranges like open carry--they are not my favorite, but I definitely want them to be available.

The older you get the more you will appreciate them….trust me.

I am sad our best one closed. I have more time to shoot in the winter when there is no yard work. I can shoot outside, but shooting in the snow can suck.

I don't know--my ears take a beating every time I go to one and the muzzle awareness of the clientele is usually lacking.
