I have always thought the hype about Leupold and other high end scopes was blown out of proportion. I finally broke down and bought a vintage Vari-X III 3.5-10x40 after seeing everybody's recommendation for a scope on the model 70 i bought a few months back and wow. What have I been shooting with all these years? Crystal clear and i love the eye relief.

Be careful! Do yourself (and your wallet) a favor if you’re really impressed with that Leupold and don’t ever put a Nightforce optic to your eye. They’re a hella expensive addiction to take up.

I have Leupold, Vortex, and Nikon. I’m a Leupold fan boy.

Besides the clear sight picture; they are much easier to get a sight picture than my other scopes.

There is a reason they are King of the scope market.

Elliot, I’m not saying your Nightforce scope's aren’t exceptional. But us mere mortals can’t afford them. :)
