How is it that the Memphis Commercial Appeal has a searchable database of all HCP holders in the state. I thought this was private / protected data?

HCP info has always been public record. We need to lobby our legislators to make it private. We tried before, but Naifeh shot it down. (BTW: Naifeh is in the database)

I had the same problem, just put in your last name and click search, it should come up. It listed what street but not the number.

Well, one thing to do is get as many people as possible to get a permit. You hide a tree in a forest.

I'm in it, but hell, my salary, property records, and everything else is publicly available. At least a crook knows I probably have something to throw back at them if they kick down the door.

Knoxville's Tim Burchett is to. I don't have the inclination to search for all the other politicos but I'm sure there are more.

Close enough. Within seconds you can get an exact address from other sources.

Found myself, my wife, my mother, most of my friends etc.

That's fine I hope somebody breaks into my house with that list in there pocket. Because after I take them out I'm taking that blood stained piece of paper up to the Commercial Appeal and putting copies of it on the lawsuit I file against the State of TN, The Commercial Appeal, the Dept. of Safety, and whoever else I can think of.

This needs to be a mission to get this changed.
