He’s such an idiot. And that picture of Biden whispering in his ear is really creepy.

My sister keeps correcting me for not pronouncing Beto correctly. That’s creepy also.

However…he did say out loud and in public what the rest of the dems try to hide.

While we're on the topic I wanted to share a recent Beto disaster. He went on Reddit yesterday to do an "AMA" which stands for ask me anything. It's pretty common for politicians. Anyways, one of the reddit users asked him how he would confiscate millions of AR'15's.

His response is below. Notice, he was downvoted nearly 13,000 times... 🤣 This is especially remarkable since Reddit is typically pretty left leaning. He got absolutely roasted in the comments.

I promise if I gave up my AR it would not make your kids or grandkids safer. A one night ride-along with his local PD, and even he would probably figure out that people won’t simply obey the law.

What the heck am I saying?? He knows that better than most; he’s been cuffed and stuffed more than once. There are laws against driving drunk and burglary in all states.

It took the full force of the US military and a coalition of nations 10 years to put down an insurgency in Iraq which is a country the size of Texas...and they still were not completely successful.

There are an estimated  100 MILLION gun owners in the US. If just 3% of them say "Hell No" then this country ceases to exist as it now stands. And the number may well be low because people often lie to pollsters about gun ownership. THINK about that. Think about what it would take to bring a 3 million person guerrilla force under control if the simply do not want to be controlled?  Think about what it means if just a tiny militant fringe of that 3% decides that taking the head off the snake (or the heads off the Hydra) is the right thing to do...... And since this "Army" does not wear uniforms and is not "connected" by structure  it will give whole new meaning to "sleeper cells". Just  a hard core 1% of the 3% would be 30,000 "fanatics". We didn't kill that many insurgents in Iraq between 2003 and 2011....

I hate to sound like an alarmist but whichever way the next election goes half the country will feel they have been disenfranchised. If the liberal/ socialist /communist side wins and tries to implement (force feed) the same failed policies that made the 20th century genocides possible then you will likely see a percentage of people who feel their leaders not only do not respect them but are declaring war on them cease to accept that government as legitimate. What happens when those people declare war back and have a very different rules of engagement than what we are used to seeing?

Beto and the others really need to re think this.... what they think they want is not what they will get.

There is a reason Lincoln did not want to "punish" the South because he knew the country would  be looking at a 100 year guerrilla war as best case scenario.

Especially when many of those 3% realize their families, livelihood, future, and freedom are more important than random assertions against The Man.

Yeah I guess it’s a good thing for us that Washington and Franklin and Adams and Jefferson didn’t have anything to risk.....

The point I’m making is that the sheer scale of what would have to be done if even a small percentage say “No” is not something that many people have the political will ( or stomach) for .  We are not talking about trying to pacify  a country the size of Iraq or Switzerland or Germany we are talking about a country the size of EUROPE .

And you are right. The 97% of people may well decide that life is too easy to rock the boat and that they are happy with peaceful(?) servitude instead of dangerous liberty... It is the other 3% or even 2% or 1% that would make things much more difficult than O’Rourke thinks it would be.

And lastly, this is not at all something anyone in heir right mind is hoping for. In fact it would be a truly worst case scenario for A LOT of people on both sides. But if we were ever going to see something that might light the match that causes the whole powder keg to go up something like this might be the catalyst. And that is why I pray that cooler heads prevail and they give up this idea.

Some people have been preaching a second Civil War in this country for a long time. I disagree. I do, however, believe that at some point there will very likely be an uprising. It won't be a Civil War, but rather a second American Revolution. This time the people will rise up and take this country back from our own corrupt government. If this revolution takes place in the ballot box or on the battlefield has yet to be determined.

I think about something along the lines of what you all seem to be getting at: If it came to it, would it be better for my kids to grow up with a dad who didn't stand up for something he believed in, or to grow up without a dad who stood up for something they might not agree with?

My big issue with a possible Civil War is what do we end up with in the long run.  Typically, they do not end well for either side. No one comes out clean.  Our children stand a much better chance of living in a police state afterwards, then they might have before.

I'm with CRuel Hand Luke.  I hope cooler heads prevail in this.  And honestly, I think they will, for a time.  Beto is receiving a lot of push back from other candidates and even from some in the Anti 2A crowd.  They know confiscation ad buy backs are a losing proposition for their cause. I'm not worried about Beto getting the nomination at this point.

Prior to the last election I thought any civil uprising of any scale was ridiculous. It would be put down not only by our Police and Military, but by our Patriots.

However, prior to the last election I would have never thought possible a run with the likes of Bernie Sanders for President with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as his Vice President. Think about that possibility.

And apparently at least someone sees the likely consequences.....

Presidential candidate Beto O'Rourke's proposal to have the police show up at gun owners' homes and enforce a mandatory assault weapons buyback is a "joke" and would put officers in harm's way, National Vice President of the Fraternal Order of Police Joe Gamaldi said Tuesday.

Appearing on "Fox & Friends" with hosts Steve Doocy, Ainsley Earhardt, and Brian Kilmeade, Gamaldi said that in a time where "everyone is asking [law enforcement] to bridge the gap with the community," O'Rourke's idea is ridiculous and "reeks of desperation."

"The only thing more idiotic than Beto O'Rourke suggesting that we should go door-to-door and seize citizens' -- who are following the laws -- property, is his current presidential run," said Gamaldi, adding, "I think he's polling at two percent."

"It puts our officers in a very dangerous situation where we're showing up to someone's house, we're armed, these people are -- obviously citizens -- are armed. And now you expect us to seize their guns? Give me a break!" he said exasperatedly.

BETO CALLS FOR RED FLAG LAWS, MANDATORY GUN BUYBACK AND NATIONAL REGISTRY ALL IN THE SAME SPEECH

Last week on MSNBC's "Morning Joe," O'Rourke said that there have to be consequences for "any law that is not followed or flagrantly abused."

"I think there would be a visit by law enforcement to recover that firearm and to make sure that it is purchased, bought back so that it cannot be potentially used against somebody else," he said.

O'Rourke added that he's banking on the conscience of everyday Americans to understand that they don't need assault weapons for self-defense and will turn in their weapons willingly, citing Australia as a prime example of a gun buyback program.

"My faith is in this country and in my fellow Americans following the law and listening to people who own AK-47s and AR-15s who acknowledge, who concede, they don’t need it for self-protection," he said.

"He's doing anything that he can to get attention. So, of course, just like he did during his Senate campaign -- which he lost, by the way -- is that he's taking a shot at the hardworking men and women of law enforcement like he did during that time," Gamaldi told the "Friends" hosts.

He said that if "we want to have a real conversation about guns in this country," we should talk about "activist DAs and judges across the country" who are "letting thousands of people go with violent gun crimes."

"So, if we want to have a conversation about gun violence in this country, let's talk about using the laws we have right now and throw the book at these dirtbags that are victimizing the hardworking people of our community," he concluded.

Fox News' Nick Givas contributed to this report.
