I read this yesterday and thought I would pass along this link to a letter published in the NYT.  It's a letter to U.S. Senators requesting stricter background checks and red flag laws.  There are 145 (I believe) CEOs that signed this letter.  I and the company I work for do business with exactly 1 of these businesses.

Background checks and Extreme Risk laws(also referred to as "Red Flaglaws" ) are proven to
save lives.
Since Congress established the background check system 25 years ago ,background
checkshave blocked more than 3. 5 million gun sales to prohibited purchasers, including to
convicted felons, domestic abusers, and people who have been involuntarily committed .

We don’t know that at all. We only know sales were blocked at a retail store; not that it saved any lives.
I’m watching the highlights from the debate last night. Gun control got big applause. I guess they think calling confiscation “Buy Back” makes it more acceptable.

I will help with the "buy-back" by selling them all the guns I have left that didn't sink in the "boat accident" I had. They are $1,000,000 each. I still have several HiPoints.
