@DaveTNsince LPA does make adjustable target site for the M&P in a three dot configuration, why don’t you just buy a set of those and have them modified? Making your own seems like a much more productive course of action than grousing about how somebody doesn’t make what you want.

I wasn’t grousing. I only know that because I had to look it up; I’ve never in my 65 years hard that term. Good for you. I was having an adult conversation about a product I saw.

Fitting a Dovetail sight for a Dovetail it was not made for would not be practical. (Without access to a surface grinder that is.)

Wouldn't the gunsmith up in Greenbriar be able to do that? What's his name, Jeff Wahl?

😆

That wasn’t the modification I was suggesting. I was suggesting having the LPA sights changed from 3 dot to the outline style you like. The front sight looks like the same physical design, just with a dot instead, easy enough to change. The rear might take a bit more work, but I don’t see why the dots couldn’t be blacked out and an outline placed around the rear notch.

Maybe. Any machinist that does precision surface grinding could do it. Provided there was enough stock on the part to change the profile. But I doubt anyone is going to do it for less than the $105 my linguini eating friends from across the pond sell their adjustable sets for in this country. I suspect they will eventually come around to my way of thinking. That or someone will make a set of adjustable white outline sights for the M&P line.
