My pastor is 68 and doesn't wear glasses. I asked him if he wore contacts or had Lasik surgery and he said nope. To the OP, I barely remember 45. It happened so long ago. LOL

Well sure, if you are living at the foot of the cross. I'm not.

I think they are very tight too, but they aren't uncomfortable.  Then again, I haven't worn them for an extended time period either.  I think I would have done better just buying a $15 pair of reading glasses and use them only for reading.  I can't wear the glasses while on the computer, so they were really a waste for me.

My eye dr recommended a different strength for computer use vs reading...i might can find the paper he wrote it on and let you know the way it works...i cant remember which one should be stronger at the moment...

You should get your butts to an eye doctor and get something serious. Gawd, you're all driving too aren't you?

From my perspective in the driver’s seat of my semi, the answer is a frightening “yes, they undoubtedly are”.

Used to be a welder and was pretty darned good at reading drawings and prints. One of my bosses used to call me over alot and have me figure out what some drawing or print was all about. Blamed his eyes.... I thought he was full of BS and couldn't figure out the more complicated stuff.

Now I know the ridiculous helpless feeling of not being able to read fine print or even semi-fine print without proper light and magnification.

Sorry old boss for doubting you.

Things that are closer require more diopter (power).  Reading glasses for books/cell phones/watch/etc. (for me) require .25 more diopter than ones for the computer monitor.
