Well here are my thoughts. I ordered & paid on Jan the 19th. Was told belt was in stock & would ship the next day. That was good because it was supposed to be a B-day gift. 1 Week goes by no belt so I call- Lady answers the phone who is really nice btw & says that doesnt seem right let me get your num & Ill find out whats going on & get back with you. 2 days go by no call so I call back. Same lady answers phone & says sorry I forgot to call you back but I do have a 38 in black in stock right here. Ill ship it out right now & im sorry about the mistake. Im cool with that. That was on Jan 30. Feb 4th the balt has had plenty of time to arrive & still no belt I call back & a man answers this time. He said let me check my shipped list & after about 5 minutes comes back & says Della must have it in the shop let me get your num & Ill call you back. Guess what he never called & I still dont have a belt.

Ive also sent 5 emails on different days & have yet to recieve a reply to any

of my emails with exception to the 1 I sent them directly before I sent my paypal payment. Hopefully my belt will come & it will be nice but it will be the last thing I ever order from them just simply due to there customer service. I dont mind waiting but lmk up front. Dont tell me its on its way just to get paid. If its not here withen 10 days Im gonna try to see what paypal will do to help me wit the matter.

Yep, had almost the same identical experience except I kept getting some kid answering the phone who said Della would call me back. Finally she did after my 7th phone call over two weeks and same rigmarole. It is about to be started (2 weeks later than told), It's on the table, it should have gone out already, oh sorry it will go out next week,..... Long story short holster finally came and was nice work, but it was 3 weeks later than when they told me it had shipped. I don't think it was intentional lying, i just don't think they could get their stuff together.

I went to Rafters web site and found this. If this was the case why not fess up when customers call. It would be better then bad press.

Yeah that was on the website when I placed my order. Heres a copy & paste of the emailshe sent me.

Hello Jason,

Not a problem. 38” it is. We have our standard buckle available in solid brass or chrome plated brass, as well as a roller buckle (pictured on the dark brown cowhide belt on the “belts” page available in solid brass or stainless steel. www.raftersgunleather.com (Just let me know which buckle you want on it.)

We actually have this belt in stock, so getting it by next week won’t be a problem.

That been up for a loooong time. Evidently it is a stanby excuse or a constantly broken down machine.

Update

Called on 2-10 & was told it shipped on 2-9Called back on 2-16 since there still wasn't any belt & was told it shipped on 2-13

IM fixing to call & see what the story of the day is today then I'm filling a dispute with paypal.

You're not the first person I've heard complain about their CS, but I don't think I've ever heard a complaint about their product.
