Leather Thumb break 3 slot holster recommendations?

I might buy a new holster for a M&P40 2.0 Compact 4”.

Desantis Scabbard: Buds $45.01

Galco COP 3 SLOT STRONGSIDE/CROSSDRAW Amazon $71.00

I have the Desantis for my Shield. I thought I might want to try the Galco, but don’t really see why it costs more than the Desantis?? Anyone know if it’s made better?

It doesn’t look like Gould & Goodrich or Safariland has anything yet for the 2.0 Compact 4”.

Anyone have any other recommendations for a Leather, Thumb Break, 3-slot for me to look at?

Check out the Bianchi Model 7 Shadow.  I have the two-slot version of this (Model 5 Black Widow) and like it.

Thanks, that was one on my list, but I got this on their web site when I tried to get a model number:

"Your firearm is not compatible with this holster. View alternate holsters for your firearm"

Looks like the Model 7 will fit a 4.25."  IIRC, the compact is just a shorter grip, so the barrel length is the only thing that would matter for a holster.  An extra 1/4" of holster wouldn't be too big a deal.  

Why the 3-slot?  The Model 5 is an open end holster and would fit a Compact or a 5" gun, but has only 2 slots.
