.300 Savage Ammo

Recommended Posts

Posted

Today I reblued and cleaned up my grandfather's Model 99 Savage lever action; it is chambered for the .300 Savage. This was Pop's deer rifle. I'd love to shoot it again!

Can anyone give me guidance on where I may look for ammunition in .300 Savage?

Thanks -

I dunno, at a 1.50 or a 1.60 a shot in the door, you may be cussing me and midway. Rifle ammo is just too high. Even the components are getting fierce.

Well, .300 Savage is hard to find since no one chambers it anymore.

The chance to shoot my grandfather's favorite rifle one more time is worth the cost to me . . . I thank you
