Editing the thread title. We've yet to put on an official TGO event so these things are always organized as get togethers. There is a certain amount of liability presumed when something is advertised as a TGO event.

There will be a Forked Deer FNRA meeting at the Great Outdoor Store class room (2310 N. Highland, Jackson) Tuesday night at 6:30pm. Y'all come to the meeting, learn about the FNRA, and we'll get together afterwards and see if we can't hammer out a date/time/place to have a get together for the TGO members.

Wasn't able to make it to the FONRA meeting tonight, but was a date, time and location discussed?

Some of the others get togethers in the past have been and Eat and Shoot. If we were to go that route I would suggest Shoney's for the eat. Two reasons, they don't serve alcohol and they are at the front door of the Great Outdoor Store. See range page here

Not sure on how many guest a member can have or if all would have to pay non-member rates, but not aware of any other indoor ranges in the area.

If that was acceptable to all, maybe a member there could contact them for details about a group of us coming to the range.

But...I'm all for just meeting up with some whether it is just shooting or just eating or any combination there of....lol

We had some new members join us last night but no one from TGO showed up (except me:D).

Feb. is a bust for me to add anything to my schedule what with recruiting and FNRA appointments with March not being much better. This is starting our big push for FNRA donations and sponsorships. Weekends are tied up with HCP classes and gunshows. Unless something comes up, it looks like Saturday, March 7th is actually free for me (don't know about the wife). If anyone else agrees to this date, I'll contact Darrell at GOS and see if I can reserve a couple of lanes and find out how many guests I can bring.

Looks like it's not a good day for me. The wife reminded me that we have to go to a friend's daughter's wedding that day. Being retired leaves me with quite a bit of free time during the week, but weekends always seem to be tied up with one thing or another.

Anybody want to try for the 14th?

I'm down for it, but it'd have to be a Sunday or I'd have to have a month's notice. I work every Saturday.
