Like the title says....looking for good value(dont have a need for a $100 holster)

Actually the title says the best IWB, not good for the east money. An excellent IWB is more expensive than a excellent OWB. There are some who like the CTAC and MTAC. Personally I like leather. But, leather costs more.

Get a kydex IWB. You're better of with that than a cheapo leather IWB.

Kydex is a molded plastic. Each kydex holster is form fitted to match your model of pistol. CTAC is a brand of Kydex holster. MTAC is another brand that also includes a leather backing. Those that use it say it's more comfortable than CTAC. There are also a number of other companies that make kydex holsters. Some good some not so good.

I'd say 3 of the top IWB (IMO), are:

The Comp-Tac C-TAC:

The Comp-Tac M-TAC:

And the Crossbreed Supertuck:

I have personally owned 2 Crossbreeds and have been completely satisfied. I have heard many other good things from the Comp-Tacs. They aren't exactly cheap, but when it comes to holsters, you usually get what you pay for.

thanks for the info guys........wouldnt a plastic holster be hard on a guns finish?

Not really. A lot of times leather can be more abrasive to the finish.

My opinion is the Supertuck by Crossbreed. I have it and the MTAC and prefer the Crossbreed. At the time when I bought the Crossbreed for the P345, they didn't even offer the MTAC for it, and I don't know if they do now or not. After I sold my P345 and remolded the Crossbreed for my Glock, I bought the MTAC for the same Glock and tried both holsters. I prefer the Crossbreed. JMHO. YMMV.
