How do I carry my HCP?

Which one?

I have two. Unless they have changed the rules, when you apply you can ask for a duplicate permit. I keep one in a special spot in the truck so if that fateful day I did forget my wallet, I have another permit in the vehicle I usually drive. It was 5 bucks extra 2 years ago. Do it if they still allow it.

HA! I keep mine behind my DL. I like to laugh at people who flip there badge wallet out with their permit and crap in it. Well that's friggin' great there Dick Tracy, but I just needed your driver's license.

They crap in their wallets? WTF... Memphis... :shake:

I carry it in my wallet, but NOT behind my DL. It is behind other cards. If I hand over just my DL, I don't want my HCP to be seen.

Whether to hand both over has already been discussed and should not be done again in this thread. Do a search if you wish to discuss that topic. :shake:

Here also so.. I think that is the bast way to do it..

in my wallet, in front of the dl. it also has a clear window. when i am asked for ID, i toss out the gun permit. it draws some funny ass looks.

lol one lady asked me if that gun permit was legal. that led to me telling her all about how to obtain her permit.

back to the topic, when i have to pull out the HCP and DL, they get handed to LEO with the permit on top. it has gotten me out of 3 tickets for my honesty about being legally armed.
