With my DL in my wallet. LEO's don't like it if you don't inform them immediately. And I wouldn't either if I were one. He may want to dissarm you during the course of business but you'll get it back. Unless you really screwed up.

And by what right would a legally armed citizen be disarmed during the 'course of business'? Yes, I know LEOs must look out for their own safety but I also believe that LEOs should respect the fact that the HCP holder has passed background checks, etc. To tell the truth, I may not feel entirely comfortable with some uniformed guy standing outside my window with a 'Glock fortay' on his hip - can I ask him to disarm during the course of business, as well? I mean, I don't know the guy and just because he wears a badge doesn't mean I am going to instantly trust him - he might still be a loose cannon. If he is going to require a legally armed citizen to disarm then he should extend the same courtesy. Unless a crime that invalidates the HCP has been committed, I figure than an HCP holder has as much right to retain his/her weapon during a traffic stop as the LEO.

My wallet has an 'insert' for carrying ID, debit card, etc. No, not like a 'badge' wallet, just a removeable insert that allows you to take out the ID, debit/credit card, maybe a couple of bucks and so on if you don't want to carry the entire wallet with you. It is a small, thin bi-fold piece that is slightly larger than the cards. You slide one side into a slot in the wallet to carry it in the wallet. Anyway, on the inside, both halves have a clear, plastic 'window'. I have my DL in one side and my HCP in the other. I also carry my fishing and hunting licenses folded up and tucked behind one or the other. I try to avoid getting stopped in the first place but if I do I figure that will give me an quick and easy way to show the officer both my DL and HCP in a more convenient package than trying to dig out two cards, etc. Since I keep the HCP side stuck into the slot in the wallet, if a store clerk, etc. asks to see my ID for a credit card transaction I can just open the wallet and show them the DL side, keeping the HCP out of view.

I have my HCP and DL in the same slot in my wallet so I can produce both at the same time easily if needed.

Me too

Wallet behind DL and in between them I have my insurance cards for good measure :D

My HCP badge is at Austin's Tennessee Firearms getting my name engraved on it. So if you want to get one, give them a call and tell them Mike sent you. They will give you a real good deal on an engraved HCP badge I'm sure of it :ugh:

I must be the only only one that wears it around my neck next to the badge like Dog the bounty hunter.:ugh:

So you need a permit for a paintball gun? :D

Almost you have to be a leo or own your own "security company" according to the pepperball website.

At least it was like that when it first came out. I wanted to purchase one to have at the farm to shoot my neighbors bull when he threatened me through the fence. I was going to light his face up and nuts up with pepper balls.

I got one of those( actually that's a Tippmann A-5). Get a flatline barrel and you can hit targets around 50+ yards straight on.

There is also stink paintballs out there( smells like rotten eggs)

And Yes I carry my permit in my wallet as well.

In my wallet, with my DL. I have a ID holder that is clear on both sides. The front is my DL, and the back is my HCP.

I do take it out every night and polish it, though...

I have 2 copies. I keep one in my wallet, and one in the visor of my truck. Just incase i forget my wallet, or loose it.

I also have 2 copies, 1 over my visor and 1 in my wallet, keep the 1 over my visor to show LEO so the dont mistake me reaching for my wallet as me reaching for my weapon.

I wear my HCP badge on a leather flip-wallet around my neck with my HCP inside it. That way in an emergency at the mall I can flip it open so that everyone knows how cool I am while I take care of the situation. :puke:

Kidding of course. I carry it in my regular wallet in the same slot with my DL. I find it handy to have DL, HCP and Vehicle insurance all together because if I need one, I will more than likely need either of the other two as well.

You guys with the duct tape are sissies... I staple mine to my forehead. It helps hold my hat on when it's windy out. :puke:

I have mine stuck in one of my forehead wrinkles...

Mine is still behind my DL in my wallet. If the police get up to me before I can get to it, I will inform, then carry out whatever instructions they give me. Inform...hmm...another one of those dead horse things Mike should have put in his pole!

I carry it in my wallet behind my DL but it is not behind one of those clear things. and i thought we only had to produce it if asked.

Although i don't have a gun yet, I am thinking if i am carrying and get pulled over, i will automatically hand them both, but if i am not carrying, prob just the DL

Right behind my DL in a badge wallet. Fireman's badge wallet.

HCP right behind the DL in the same slot.

Me too. (I filed the edges down on my HCP badge and keep it handy in my pocket for when I need a throwing star.):D
