How do you carry your TN permit? I've seen some special cases out there, but none I've liked. Also, is it just as easy to carry it in your wallet? Looking for some advice and links, if special cases are better. Thanks.

I have my HCP and DL in the same slot in my wallet so I can produce both at the same time easily if needed.

IWB, off side at about 8:00, usually with an untucked t-shirt for cover...

nah, it's in my wallet.

I carry it in my wallet, but NOT behind my DL. It is behind other cards. If I hand over just my DL, I don't want my HCP to be seen.

Whether to hand both over has already been discussed and should not be done again in this thread. Do a search if you wish to discuss that topic. :slapfight:

My good friend was told by a williamson county officer that he was to provide his ccl along with his DL in a traffic stop. he was kinda pissed when he had to ask for it after running his license for a traffic violation (speeding)

I have heard of officers doing that before, and that is why some do hand it over at the same time. But the law does not require it. LEOs should work on getting the law changed instead of getting upset with citizens following the law if they want to change TN to a must infrom state.

But as said, this can be further discussed in this thread.

Wallet with two ID slots - DL in one slot and the HCP in the other. Pin the CCW badge to your zipper to draw attention to how manly you are.

In my wallet with the D.L. I never use "special"stuff like that or cocealed carry badges. That stuff is for the mall ninjas.

I bought a leather, badge-type wallet from a gun show vendor once.

It has the two ID slots and a place for a... *cough*.....badge.

I don't have a badge in there, but it has turned out to be the best wallet I've ever had.

lol, I keep my car insurance cards where the badge goes.
