Sorry for the thread derail, I’ll bring it back to topic for you with a pic of mine. It’s a custom job from @Grand Torino and a sheath made by @1911alltheway . It might be a bit for your needs, but it works for me. 😬

You just haven’t met any off duty Firemen yet. You think you have a problem with cops…..

My brother in law is one. Give ‘em beer and whiskey and they’re usually placated. 😆

My father in law was one when I was a cop. We had a riot getting ready to start. They pulled up said “Want some help?”  Then something to equivalent of “Hold my beer and watch this!”

Rioters fear water hoses and dogs more than they do guns.

Another one I sometimes carry is a Cold Steel Spike Tanto. This a more of a defensive weapon, much like a Stiletto, from Medieval times. The blade is a triangle shape with one razor sharp angle is about 6 or 7 inches in length and one piece of steel. It’s design to punch a large hole into whatever you thrust it into. Expect a lot of bleeding to occur, if used correctly.   Comes with a chain for neck wear, but I hide it a coat sleeve or boot. They are discontinued now, but you can still find them.

can’t post a pic, but here is a link. https://www.knifecenter.com/item/CS53CT/cold-steel-53ct-spike-tanto-point-cord-wrapped-handle

I learned that having a knife in the waste-band of your pants or around your neck helps a lot when you're grappling with someone, or you're unfortunate enough that they got you in a mount, so a small fixed blade, or this guy works pretty well as "get the F**CK OFF ME!" motivator. I got away from neck knives, because I found that they were harder to conceal in a tee, or I didn't trust them to stay in.
