Can somebody point me at an anti-fog compound that works well? Does such a product exist? I need to apply it to coated optics, so obviously, it needs to not remove the coating.

I use this product on sunglasses and motorcycle helmet face shields and have found it to be very effective. The website says that the "marine" version is good for scopes, but I think I would call and ask if it would affect the coatings before using it, just to be sure.

You also might want to check out a scuba diving store. Always used anti-fog stuff on my diving masks.

I've always just spit on that stuff, which works ok. Turns out if you spit on a scope lens at 20 degrees you have a problem. :D

I had one morning this season I couldn't keep the optics going, and had a good shot at a really nice 8 or 9 point buck at around 150 yards I couldn't take, so I need to sort this out. I sent some email to nikon and bushnell. See what they say about some of these new coatings and an anti-fog compound.
