Guns for sale in Tennessee on Gun Broker??

Recommended Posts

The most important thing to me on a gun even before the price is the location. It doesn’t appear to me that I can see guns for sale in Tennessee on Gun Broker without going in, doing a search, and picking Tennessee in the location box. That’s too convoluted; am I missing something??

I have to admit Armslist might be loaded with scams and nutcases; but they have the best web site for buying used guns. A couple of clicks and I can see what is for sale in this state, and one more click and I can go to my city. That’s the way it should be.

Try this:

Under categorizes choose guns & firearms.

Choose buy.

Type +TN in search field.

Hit enter and then click on save search.

Thanks, but I only get 86 guns when I do that.

If three clicks is too much you can always book mark the search as a favorite:

Everything:

https://www.gunbroker.com/All/search?State=TN&Sort=13&PageSize=48

Used guns only:

https://www.gunbroker.com/Guns-Firearms/search?Condition=4&State=TN&Sort=13&PageSize=48

That gets over 6800 results. Three clicks is fine, but I don't see how you are doing that in three clicks.

On the GB homepage:

1.  Click advanced next to the search bar.

2.  Scroll down and select Tennessee from the USA State drop-down.

3.  Click search.

That's the generic first example I gave that returns everything in TN.  Point is on the advanced search you can click whatever options you like and it builds the url string with search parameters.  If you generally search the same way every time you can just save that url and not have to go through all the motions.

So in this example we have all used guns in TN (1271 as of right now):

https://www.gunbroker.com/Guns-Firearms/search?Condition=4&State=TN&Sort=13&PageSize=48

If you click on that link, the search filters are already set for "used" and "TN".  Now, if you type in S&W in the search bar those filters are still set and you have 137 (as of now) used S&W's in TN.

It also looks like if you have an account you can save searches as well.

Thanks, that works.

I didn’t know I could do that without putting anything in the search field and then pick the state. I knew I must be doing something wrong.

And you can set up multiple bookmarks using this technique. Save a search for new shotguns, one for used rifles, one for that specific gun you've been seeking, accessories for your favorite pistol that have listed in the last week, whatever gets you giggly.
