Nuisance permit

My parents had a nuisance permit (deer) for several years.  Dads go-to method was a patio chair in the driveway with a cup of coffee and his Winchester 94 in his lap. :D

That would be a great picture for Jeb48's thread.

Have your elitist neighbors called 5-0 yet?

Random, inconsistent gun fire is hard for the ear and brain to process, kind of like, "what was that?" and a pause to listen for subsequent 'noise'

Years ago when the deer population peaked here, the deer would devastate soybean fields and most farmers shot them with .223 rifles so they would not die in the bean fields, because the rib bones would puncture the combine tires.

They live in the city but its 12 acres of woods, and the local cops knew they had a permit so it wasn't a problem. Also had to contact TWRA every time they got one.
