Unexpected Find-Ruger 357 10 inch

This past week I moved from VA to TN.  Prior to my move, I was offered a deal I had to take. My final act as a Virginia resident was a deal I worked with a gentleman to find a new home for this beautiful, unconverted gun.  Bluing is beautiful, grips are beautiful, couple nicks here and there.  Nice plum color on the loading gate.  Serial number 31610. Overall, very pleased with this one.

This particular Old Model Flattop configuration is rare and not your average Ruger.  Very excited to take this bad boy out!

That's a great find right there, I've only seen a few of those and they weren't for sale. I'm still looking for a 10"Bbl. 44 to replace one I had from awhile back. Enjoy your Ruger and welcome to TN.

My correction, I just seen were your Ruger was made in 1960. The 357 Maximum was developed by Remington and Strum&Ruger in 1982 according to a book I have.

Man you really have a rare one there, only a few 100 were ever made with a 10"Bbl. You need to put that one in the safe. From your pictures it looks to be in really good condition, the cylinder only has faint turn lines on it, is that the original box you have?

This thing is in super shape. Not the original box, we'd be in a really high collector range if we had that.  Into this gun way under auction values at this point, can only go up from there!
