You probably ought to just start loading reduced load .223 and call it a day ;)

You're probably right. I could do that as I reload both. I probably have four or five platforms that shoot the 22 Hornet, but always looking for interesting platforms in the 22 Hornet. Currently, I have revolver, bolt actions, break barrel, and combination platforms. You know how it is... we always need one more!

Rimmed cartridges feed fine, as proven by the 303 Savage, 22HP, and the ever popular 30-30.

Winchester did chamber the model 65 lever rifle in 218 Bee, which is more or less an improved 22 Hornet. That is as close as you鈥檙e going to get unless you have access to a machine shop.
