I don't know why but I have a burning desire for a Colt King Cobra.  Somebody slap me! Talk me out of it or talk me into it. Or just talk.....

I'd try cranberry juice then see a Dr if it doesn't clear up in a couple days ,lol.

A desire to just own on or make your next carry piece @Will Carry?

I had an original, purchased in '89 for $369 at Sports Unlimited in Orlando.

Sold it, no regrets.

It was huge for my medium sized hands.

The cobra roll mark was pretty cool.

If you want it; get it. If you are asking for opinions on the new one; it an unproven performer and sells for $800-$900 depending on where you buy it. There are a lot (almost all) of proven performers in that price (and below) market.

I look at it like the Kimber K6s. I’d like to try it; but I can’t justify the over $800 price tag for it.

I have one of the 2017 Colt Cobras and I love it. The new Colt King Cobra pushing a little north of $900 is a little much for me but the one I handled was super impressive.  I may end up with one anyway.
