Anyone gone through the process of reinstating their TN HCP? I finished diversion in November 2018 and looking for get my permit back. My attorney spoke with the prosecutor and they stated it was best to take the class again and through the application process. I did some research to see that TN has a reinstatement fee for the permit of $25.00 in the statute. Just looking for some insight from you guys. Thanks.

I think the best course of action would be to go directly to the TNDOS office that administers the HCP program.

On this page you will find the phone number for Lisa Knight. She heads up the HCP program. Back when permits used to take forever and a day to process, many of us on this board spoke to her and found her exceedingly friendly and helpful. If anyone can provide you the correct answers you need, it would be the woman in charge of the folks who will be handling the paperwork for your reinstatement.

I emailed her recently and she responded almost right away.  You dont often see that kind of customer service in government.
