New chest rig holster

Just received this, this morning, from Alaris tactical. I'm really liking the way it sits under my bino harness. I think this will be my 'final solution' for my bear carry!!

It's got enough adjustment that I can easily pull it right up onto my chest if I'm fishing.

Seems like one of the most efficient way of carrying a large revolver when hiking or other outdoor activities-I have a Galco Alaskan for my Ruger Single Actions that I really like

Looks like a solid solution.  I wish I had a reason to need a bear rig, I just don't think I could justify it for evening strolls through the neighborhood.

I like the set up!  But I think I would like it a little higher.  Does the holster retain the pistol well?  Does it pinch or is there a strap?

Yeah, I need to tighten it up under my binos I think. I'll try it with my hunting clothes, & pack & have a proper play around with the adjustment. I'll have more time this weekend to fiddle around...

It's a friction fit. I wish it snapped into place, but it does have an adjustable retention screw. Even completely undone I can't shake it out. I tried like hell to 'snag' it loose when it's adjusted up & I can't get it to unintentionally come free.

It's easier to justify this rig if you visit Memphis on a weekend.

I would rather take my chances in bear country.

That looks like a handy setup. I have been thinking about getting one like that for my Glock 20.
