I had one of the earlier ones and the frame broke near the left rear corner. Taurus replaced the frame. The millenium pros are made a little different.

I had one (millennium pro titanium 111) it was pure garbage! with less than a thousand rounds through it the pins in front and behind the trigger group came out. I sent it back they fixed it and i sold it quick!

a buddy had the same gun but in .45 and the pin/lever that must be removed to take the slide off came off while at the range one day. his also had less than a thousand rounds through it. probably more like 250/500.

GARBAGE!

maybe I was one of the unlucky few who bought a new model before they worked out the many bugs.

guns are like cars DO NOT buy a first gen or improved model for at least a year!

I carry the PT145 bought in October have about 1000rds through it so far with no hiccups. When you buy a Taurus new make sure you clean it good before the first trip especially the striker channel under the dust cap on the rear, as they put buckets of cosmoline in them.
