New holsters for my P-365

The man at Red Cent Custom Leather wasn't happy with the quality of the leather on the black holster so he sent me another free of charge.  I asked him for this holster with an integral magazine pouch.  It is canted, sets up high and tight.  Now if I can just get my P-365 broke in...……...

I wear this one at Three O'clock so I can grab the spare magazine with my left hand. I have started carrying OWB with a canted holster that sets up high.  Harold at Red Cent will ask you how you are going to wear it and make it to fit you. He made me these holsters and a beefy leather belt that is 1/4" thick, for a great price.  This is the fifth holster  he has made for me so far.  You can check out his work on his web site.  He is well known in North Carolina.

I have always wondered how is the retention on an OWB leather holster, especially for something other than a cowboy style deep pocket for a big wheel gun?  It seems like there would be enough flex in the material that would allow things to come out pretty easily but never talked with anyone who has one.

I think it depends a lot on the type/quality of the holster. I have no issues with my Pancakes. You can adjust the retention to an extent with the tightness of your gun belt.

When I received my P365, I ordered a Pancake holster from Desert Gun Leather.  Rick has always done very good work.  Note - the P365 is not listed on his website.  You can call/email to order one.

I'm not the most athletic individual (a brisk walk is my top speed these days), but I've not had any issue with retention on the pancake holsters.  I just make sure they are wet fitted (molded) to the pistol.
