Moved to Kingston springs from San diego

Hello I'm anthony. I moved to Kingston springs about 6 months ago from San Diego cali. Now that I have a good job and settled in. I would love to meet someone that could show me the ropes when it comes to hunting in Tennessee. I grew up bird hunting in Alabama but would love to get in to bird and deer hunting here. And I'm looking forward to having my 2nd amendment rights back lol.

Welcome.   That's quite the cultural shock to say the least.    Sorry to be of no help on your hunting question.

Welcome! I lived in Ocean Beach for a while back in ‘06. SD is a great city, but TN is just great living. I think you’ll enjoy it.

Yes

Yeah, that’s usually the case when you see someone from the South in San Diego. I went through Boot Camp and MR class A school in San Diego. Long time ago though; 1971.

Welcome to Tennessee. Kingston Springs is a nice town to live in. I lived there 15 years. As far as deer hunting down that way there are some to be found.

Heres one my 11 year old grandson bagged last season.

I am just down the road from Kingston Springs in White Bluff and also work in Nashville

I graduated from High School in White Bluff. I know tha school is no longer a High school but back when I graduated it was call William James High School and that was in 1966. Back in the day that every pickup truck in the student parking lot had some type of long gun hanging in the back window for going hunting after school including mine........LOL

It’s. Middle school now

Yea, I know. Some years back I needed to get a copy of my diploma and learned that all the school system was now run by the county and all the records from that high school got sent to Dickson Board of education.  It took me two months for them to come up with a copy of my diploma but I finally did get one.

From one San Diego, CA refugee to another, welcome.

I was born and raised there. El Cajon, Jamul and La Mesa. I looked at place in K Springs when I was in the market. It was right on a hi tension power line cut. Just wasn't right for me.

Classic OB Seagull, nice. I have a Sun on my calf. Was in a band at the time, thus the treble clef in the middle. 619 in a circle. I was so young then. Could use some touch up, but I never look at. Rarely wear shorts anymore.

Do you have to tell people that it’s supposed to say 619 when they see it?
