Range bags

Just picked up a new one. I had been using an old backpack which worked good for a couple guns and ammo, but wanted something I could put everything in for when I go for an extended amount of time.

I use a Lowepro camara bag which looks like this one^

The big u face opening on the top is what makes it.

A couple of years ago I started with a 4 pistol Glock bag. It was cheap and basically .... was cheap.

After that I moved to a backpack, then some other random bag, to using multiple smaller bags and rugs, to a small cooler, etc. I have tried some combination of everything.

Last fall I started looking at the i-SHot bags. They seemed nice but were very pricey. They seemed to lack a large quantity of pockets. I love pockets. I put off spending the $100+ for long enough to finally decide against it.

Coincidentally, MidWay USA was running one of their "specials", selling their comp range bag which is normally $59.99 for $39.99. I see it for $49.99 all the time but figured since it was $10 cheaper when I needed a bag it must be a sign. I bought it. I loaded up all my gear and still had empty pockets. Everything is in its place. I can find it. I don't have to dig around for things. I don't have to empty half the bag to retrieve something. The quality is fantastic. The carry strap is comfy. I have had it at the range several times already and most of my shooting buddies have since purchased one themselves.

I don't buy stuff just because it is cheap. If it was crap I would call it crap. I love it.
