My first Wilson Combat

Well I finally gave into the urge and ordered a CQB Elite with the following specs: All Black,single side safety, Naked Slide, No front cocking serrations, Crowned and recessed barrel, Slide stop cut flush and chamfered, George from MI Gunslingers is the man, I should have my new toy paid off in a few months, Wilson is the only high end 1911 that I have not owned, im really looking forward to this one:cool:

That sounds really sweet. I am going for my first custom 1911 this Spring or early Summer and thinking Ed Brown.

I will put pictures up when I get her, if you are ever in the Mt Juliet area in the next few months, I will let you shoot it and some of my other 1911's :tinfoil:

Thanks Joe, my goal is to one day own as many high end 1911s as you, I can only dream :tinfoil: your opinion of Wilson Combat had a great influence on this purchase, I would have got it through you but I needed to do a long term layaway on this one ;)

A friend of mine has a CQB Elite, and it's a very nice pistol. I went with Nighthawk, there were a couple of things I wanted that Wilson didn't do.

I love my Nighthawk as well, but just out of curiosity what wouldn't Wilson do?

Actually Nighthawk's cost more than Wilson's at least in my case it did
