Good morning guys. Got another email this morning from Lone Wolf Survivalist. I have a question for you about this product.

The G96 Synthetic CLP. Lots of claims on it, both written and verbal from the site. Sounds like the latest wonder product. And yes I'm curious about it.

Anyone ever use it? I have CLP, but if I'm reading this correctly, this product is not from the producers of CLP, just a copy, synthetic version.

Any comments on this? Thanks for looking.

I've been happy with the CLP I buy at Walmart, the foaming action works well.

Then just use good old gun grease on the rails and lugs though I just bought a small tube of tetra Grease based on a recommendation.

With all the magic products, I gave up on finding the best

My every day cleaner is G96 1054 Gun Oil I have used it for years. Use to be able to buy most everywhere now I have to get it from Amazon. Don't know about the synthetic.

From what I can tell, the G96 1054 seems to be the same manufacturer as Lou/Lone Wolf's product. But not sure totally.

Just got attracted by the pricing of 6 bottles for 19.95.

No real need for a new product, just interested. Guess I'll stay with my current regimine of Hoppes #9 and Balistol.

Seems like new cleaning and lube products for guns come out each week, and I am sure they are good products. Having said that, after almost 60 years of cleaning my own guns, I have never used a gun cleaning and or lube for guns that did not  work, old or new product. Maybe some a little better than others, but they generally all work. I just stick with what has worked for many years.

Not familiar with the G96 synthetic, but from experience, synthetic is far better than conventional oil in other applications. I've used it in all my engines, large & small, since the early 80's. May give it a try, & see how it goes.
