I just tried the Chipotle and I agree with GlockSpock (not very hot) but has a great smoky/savory flavor with just a little kick. It also has 50% less sodium than the lower Na sauce I've been using. Can't wait to try the other two.

If sodium is a concern you might want to try Trader Joe’s chili pepper sauce.  It has no sodium at all and is delicious.

Went by aldi’s today and could not find any hot sauce.

You're in Athens, do you all have one or are you talking about the Cleveland store? I haven't checked for it in Cleveland myself, I found it by accident in the Ooltewah location.

Kroger band hot sauce is like $0.98 a bottle . It is vinegar , ground Cayenne , water and Xantham gum , which I think is to thicken it up . That stuff is cheap and tastes great ! I use it all the time. My wife hates hot sauce but she likes this stuff.

I have seen that and always thought it might be rebranded Crystal hot sauce.  Bottles look the same.  Ingredients are too maybe.  Have never tested that theory though.

Found it on an end cap at the Aldi in Collierville.  The bottles were smaller than I imagined.  There was about a box (mixed) left.

I bought a bottle of Chipotle.  I am not a fire eater, and I didn't think it was hot at all.  Good, though.  Have some more.

Anyone else think that the Cholula hot sauce taste different from a year or so ago? I made the switch to Valentina hot sauce after the Cholula tasted different to me. It's cheap and pretty tasty, plus they have an extra hot.

You might give this a try. Kroger Simple Truth Organic Smoky Chipotle Pepper Hot Sauce. Ingredients are very similar and it has 2% sodium as well. Judging from the reviews is sounds a lot  like the Aldi Chipotle. Think I'll pick some up and compare in case the Aldi brand disappears.

How do these compare heat wise with Tabasco’s jalapeño and chipotle sauce?

To me...they don't register as hot. At all. Tabasco can be mild/medium by my taste...sorta depends on the batch and age.

Stopped by Aldi today & got 3, mango, chipotle & jalapeno. Trying the jalapeno on a swiss, ham, turkey, hard salami sammich on Italian bread.

So far, jalapeno is most excellent.

A good sauce shouldn't be about heat but flavor. I have yet to find the right one.

True, try Gibbs “hellbanero” sauce. It’s hot but has a very good flavor.

I used to have an asbestos tongue but after the doctor put me on Niacin things begin to change. I can still handle quite a bit of heat but nowhere near as much as before. I might have to give these a try though.

I've had to cut back on the sauces as well, but I still enjoy them in smaller amounts.  Looks like a trip to Aldis later today!

The jalapeno from Aldi has good flavor IMHO & really isn't hot, again, JMHO.

I usually grab a couple of pounds of fresh Datils whenever I have my spring fishing trips around Jacksonville & St Augustine too. I've always just frozen them, but I'm going to try dehydrating & grinding this year.
