Funny how a couple of years ago you could pick them up for $90. Now they are fetching over $250.

Forget my 401k....I could have invested in these things and retired at this rate. Too bad the $90 Mosins that C&R folks are ordering have little chance of doing the same.

Mosins being $90 is nearly absurd. If they ever go to $200 something will be terribly wrong with the world.

And an SKS is about right at $90. Anything more is wayyyyy too much. I never bought one last time they were going crazy high and won't buy one now. Then again I doubt I'd buy one at $90 right now if that was their going rate.

Last gunshow I went to in Memphis the cheapest SKS I saw was $300...I almost fell out when I saw the prices (it was right before the election, but still)...

2 Yugos in the Athens gun show. $300 and $350. My 4 yr old son's cost me $95, 3 yrs ago, and is in exc. cond and still packed in cosmo. Just think what it could be worth when he turns 18. I kick myself all the time over whether to hold on to or sell.

I understand the distaste, but they aren't that bad.
