I don't know of any in Nashville anymore. Used to be several back in the 60's. Friedmans on Nolensville Rd was a neat place. I think it's a Mexican Rest. now. Good luck.

Friedman's are still open at their original location, right past green hills shopping area. They are kind of high on a few things, but they are fair on others. If you ask the guy in charge, he can be persuaded to give a small discount on bulk ammo purchases. I have bought some ammo there before ALL bought ammo skyrocketed and he would give me 10% off a thousand rounds or more. Very nice guy BTW.

As far mil-surp, they have a good bit of gear for any couch commando to tool up his kit. I've bought a bit of mine there.

+1 on their mil surp. I stop in every once and a while for a pair of BDU trousers (everybody needs a pair or two, you know), and I don't think I've ever seen them priced over $15.

Man, I used to love that place as a kid. I was fascinated by it. Hadn't thought about that in a long time. Thanks for the cool memory.
