No longer content to just sell bullets, Sierra is entering the factory ammo world.  I can't wait to try these out.

That .308 load looks interesting.

That's what I was looking at.   I'm hoping to have gone through a few boxes before deer season hits again and that it performs like I expect it.  If so, I'm looking forward to trying out this new bullet on something edible.

Tough market to get into, but with ammo so cheap less people are reloading in quantity. If tgey make good stuff tgat is priced decent they will do well though

If the ballistics they put out are accurate then I am guessing that this will be expensive ammo.  Those numbers are far superior to Reminington Core Lokt.  At 300 yards the Sierra is over 500 ft/s faster and carrying 50% more energy.

This wouldn't be competing with Core Lokt.   This would be a competitor to something along the lines of Federal Premium loaded with the Sierra GameKing.   I fully expect this to be priced similarly to those loads.

And very likely loaded in the same factory.

Federal Premium usually run 1.5-1.75 per round.  I hope these will be priced similar.  I will buy several boxes at that price.  I bet they are closer to $40-45 bucks a box.  The Federal Premium have really good ballistics and these above are still beating them by approx 5% in ft/s and 10% in energy.  I look forward to trying them out.

The ballistics they put out on their bullets have always been accurate. I'm betting these are too. The velocities are probably for a 24" barrel
