Night Fision are releasing a new tritium safety, to make it easier to visually check the condition of your rifle in the darkness. Below you can read their description:

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: Night Fision has created the first ever tritium AR-15 safety selector switch.

The Night Switch™ features a tritium vial so it’s easy to see the position of the safety in low light conditions. It can be used as a training aid and even to locate your rifle in the dark.

Available for purchase in less than two weeks!

Maybe if it changed colors from safe to fire....but yeah, pretty unnecessary if you're used to tactile feedback when handling an AR.

I remember a Vietnam era US sniper talking about using the enemy's glow from a cigarette as a target aid. Not sure I want anything extra glowing if I am in a tactical situation.

Also, I am in the "Why do I need to spend more money?" camp. I know where the safety is and what position equals fire and safe. This provides no functional benefit.

That’s gonna look silly without a tritium mag release and bolt catch.

Hush!  Don't spoil the SHOT Show 2020 reveal.
