seems like it should be classified AOW. Kinda like it though.

It does not because it cannot fire with the grip folded.

Seems ideal if a guy say worked in a building which was posted and he absolutely couldn't afford to be caught caring at work.

Even if you pulled the "hammer" back until almost cocked and released?

From my short research this morning it CANNOT FIRE WHILE CLOSED. Don’t know if dropping it would be different. I’m thinking about getting the .22WMR version to check it out. I like gadgets....

I am not arguing or disputing it, just seems to me that it would be the same as a pen gun, so should be AOW. I am not an expert or in any way claim to be, just saying an opinion. :)

At 1/2 inch thickness and 7 ounces of steel and aluminum, it probably wouldn't get into a building with a security check point.

I was not calling you out, just telling you what I read. ;)

As far as the design, I think they clearly put it in the novelty area of carry simply due to that fact they didn't put a ejector in it. It doesn't even have an extractor! They blew it IMO.  The NAA 5 shot is way ahead of this folder.

They make a pen gun that folds into the shape of a pistol before you can shoot.   It is also not an AOW.  As long as the gun looks like a gun when its fired, not an AOW.

That's probably where I got confused. I was comparing it to a pen gun and thought all pen guns were AOW. Thanks for that!

Every year there are many different designs of "last ditch" hide-out firearms at the SHOT show.  They differ in size, shape, caliber, number of shots available, etc.  The design in this thread is just another example of a designer's concept for being able to carry without advertising that fact.  Some of these designs have been successful while others faded away.  I always enjoy visiting and chatting with these inventors.  They put a lot of energy into their work and hope the public will accept their concept.  Sadly, a lot of these are so over priced I would not buy them just on that fact.
