I just bought a mint one on line for $1250. Wait till spring, put it on some bulletin boards at gun clubs, go to Trapshooters.Com and post, ask a little more than you expect to get. Getting $1500 would be a matter of luck. A minty Spl Sporting Model MIGHT bring $1400. Newer models, such as the 425, are going for $1500 or so.

Tennessee Clay Target Complex is getting in gear for the 2009 Sporting Clays season. We have a Winter Series Shoot March 15. Come out, bring the gun, and maybe shoot a little while you are there.:screwy:

Those are selling for about $900. The higher end "425" and "525" models are bringing a little over $1000-$1200.

The thing that is hurting the values is that Browning has brought out so many new models and trim levels in the past ten years, as has Beretta, that there is a glut in the market.

I asked him to check to see if there was a model number on the box or gun and he said he did not see one. where would it be located? How do you know if it is a "425 or 525"?

well, nevermind. my dad sold the browning today for $1200. Bully for him. He also sold a Colt 45 as well. $650, not so bully I think. Too late now, oh well maybe he can buy that sled he always wanted!
