I was putting the lower receiver together for another AR15 today and you know, the instructions were right. They said that the privot detent and spring will pop out at the speed of light, enter an alternate dimensional, and never be seen again. madgo.gif

I had absolutely no difficulty putting mine together using a utility knife to hold the pin in. From reading some people's accounts, I had half-expected it to be nearly as painful as breaking my shoulder, but it was easy as pie.

I had the assembly covered with a towel, but the rod I was using slipped...and the pin and spring popped out. I found the spring in the towel, but the pin was going into warp speed as it went by my right ear. I drug a magnet all over the floor...nada, nothing. I've made one for now till I can get by a gunsmith. Got it together, just waiting for the barrel to come in.
