Something is wrong with these cases...help!

2 on the left are speer and the 2 on the right are IMI brass.

You will notice on the bottom of the casing that the two brass cases are not right! This happened while belling and priming the cases. I'm using RCSB dies and have a single stage press.

I think these two brass casings are a smidge to big and don't fit in the dies properly. All the other 200 brass cases fit flawlessly.

This is also posted for help on another site.

Thanks in advance

We might need a little more info. Was the brass bought once fired, or fired in your gun? If fired in your gun, reloads or factory, and what type of gun?

Looks like they didn't size completely and the die stopped there at the "ring". Can you post a pic of the entire cases length? Have they been trimmed to the same length?

I've had it happen before, it's not uncommon for a piece of brass to not contract as much as it should after firing, or maybe a slightly oversized chamber. When you sized them, they dug into die mouth. Just cull 'em.
