Picked this one up today,  Beretta 92G Tennessee limited edition. Had no idea they were made until a fellow board member posted a pic, and then helped me find one after my searches came up empty!!

Picked mine up about 30 minutes ago. Great looking pistol. Will be a few days before I can do much evaluating. Feels great in my hand though.

Mine shipped today but with the holidays it will take a few days before the receiving FFL will have it available for pick up.

The FFL signed for mine Thursday but isn't open until after New Years.

I was amazed. Mine shipped yesterday and was at my FFL by 11:30 this morning. Didn't have to come far but still kinda impressed via the post office.

So now the question becomes, shoot or don't shoot? I'm displaying mine at the moment but the urge to take it to the range is strong....

You need to buy a 2nd. One to display and one to shoot. That is the only acceptable solution.

Mine will be shot. I understand collector value etc but that will be for my heirs to worry about. I collect/hoard but everything is subject to being shot.

I've already checked into ordering a second one... 🙂 

My philosophy on guns has always been not to buy anything I wouldn't shoot but for some reason this one struck a cord that makes me want to keep it as is.  I've got plenty others to shoot

My decision doesn't really have anything to do with potential value increase, that's what stock markets are for (well at least in theory....)

 

I guess it just boils down to the fact it sure is Purdy.....

Not only did I have one young Beretta employee pick his up and take it out to shoot it immediately, but when he came back in off the range, he announced to me that he was going to rub orange into all the rollmarks.

I've got a few days to make that decision as mine gets shuffled in the Postal System. 

I thought I'd never have a safe queen, however for several years I've had an unfired NRA edition M1A.

Can you guys clarify for me where these are available? I have a fellow employee that is adamant that they are not available to the public anywhere.  (Checked with SMGA, none there.)

Did you look on their website?   Cause it’s there.  Although it does show out of stock now.

Ordered mine on the 18th from SMGA and picked it up at my FFL on the 19th. As stated there were ok nly a few in stock at that time.

I've been there for about 6 years. I went REALLY part time when I did a short, painful stint with Kia. Yes, Uber is working out well, so far!

Make a large bet with him and I'll split the winnings with you after you after prove to him otherwise. 

Contacted the shop I got mine from asking about a second and he is out of them but has 12 more on order
