Just saw AC/DC

Well, me and the wife just got back from seeing AC/DC live at the Fed-Ex Forum, for the first time ever.

Yes they are getting old, but they still put on one hell of a show. Our ears are still ringing.

That was one of the bands that I have always wanted to see.

If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for the tickets? They are going for crazy prices here in Nashville.

I got some freebies from the label and sold them for $450 on ebay. I was actually surprised at the demand...

Our company has a club box, and none of the owners wanted to go, I was given 4 tickets and another co-worker was given 2.

It was great being there with good friends, good whiskey, and a good band.

They are going for crazy prices here too.

Nice!

I was trying to get tickets, but I couldn't get myself to shell out that kind of money. I could possibly get some slightly cheaper during the last minutes before the show, but I'm too lazy for all that.

Angus is in better shape than most young pups in their 20s.I first saw AC/DC back in 79 in Knoxville when Bon Scott was still alive. Now THAT was a show!.I saw them in Knoxville again in 91 and had a ticket to see them in Nashville in 00 but could not make it.My favorite band of all time.ROCK ON IN ETERNITY BON SCOTT:devil:

I saw them in 1980. They were the opening act for ZZ Top. Only memorys of it were that they were really loud and some huge bouncer type guy carried Angus on his shoulders around the floor of the Coliseum as he played a solo.

Ticket was $9.50 (still got all my old ticket stubs.)

Dated a girl back in the 80's who was AC/DC. Interesting to say the least.
