What Revolver Scope do you use?

I’m kicking around the idea of scoping a revolver. Curious to see what set-ups others have used. I was going to do it with one of my center fire revolvers, but they are not drilled and tapped for it. My 617 is, so I may do it first.

I’m looking at a conventional scope. I already have a Vortex Venom Red Dot on a pistol.

I’d be interested in what scope and mount you chose. Pictures would be great.

There's an older Burris pistol scope I like because it's got a 32mm tube and is brighter.

The Leupold FX-II (I think - going from memory) is also a great scope - around $300 though.  This is what I've got on an older 629 in .44Mag - and it's a great package.

This is a 4x on a Super 14 - 7mmTCU.  Base and rings are also Redfield

I have a similar setup on a Super 14 - 45 Winmag.  The scope is a 3x Burris with Leupold base and rings

I mounted a 4X on a Dan Wesson 44 mag w. 8" bbl, back in the mid 80's. I think the scope was either a Weaver or Tasco, not sure. The mount came from B Square in Ft. Worth.

Worked great, no drilling/tapping required. Killed a few deer with it, before it was stolen out of my Bronco.

Not a revolver but I mounted a 2x20 Nikon Force XR on my CVA .50 cal muzzy pistol.  The rings are Weaver.  The pistol came with a rail style base.  Have shot it quite a bit developing a hunting load and its remained solid.

Had thought about scoping my SW22 and searched to find this scope.

A Hammer Premium Calls Long Eye Relief Pistol Scout Scope 2-7 x 32 Silver Chrome with Weaver Rings at WALMART --- $55.  Would look good ona SW22 sicne it's a Silver Chrome look.

Made in China (maybe that turns you off).

Don't seem to be able to copy the WALMART link (maybe that violates rules - sorry). Guess you can search it yourself.

Anyway, after trying a friends Red Dot on my gun ( did not like the Red Dot), I decided to stay with open sights the, the way I shoot rest of my pistols (all 22s except the 9MM and a 380 I wish I did not own).
