Lifetime Sportsman License

Anyone bought a lifetime license recently? I’m going to buy my son one and am contemplating one for myself. Seems like at 33 it would be worth it if I hunt for at least another 12 years. I am just wondering if it’s a fairly easy process or if the state makes you jump through hoops.

My Dad bought my kids both one for their 1st birthday. Wish it had beem around when I was a kid. Seemed pretty straight forward from what he said.

Bought one for my son when he was born. I want to say all I had to do was send the application, fee and copy of birth cert. Easy as that.

I printed out the application last night to do this for my son. He turned 2 in June, and the price goes up considerably when they get over 3. I should have done it already but you know....life.

The way I understand it is after you fill it out, a copy of your DL and his birth certificate has got to be sent in with the application.

My oldest grandson Justin has one my son bought him when he was 8 and last year Justin bought one for Logan his baby brother at age 11 since they are hunting partners. My son Ronnie bought one when he was about 20. I never bought one because I knew after getting hit by that truck and all the problems I had just trying to work I would not be doing a lot of big game hunting.
