Just found out about this forum this week. Been on other gun forums for a good long while. Love CZ's, 44 Special Revolvers, 3" 38/357's revolvers, tacking driving 22's. I reload for numerous handgun calibers and a couple of rifles as well. Been a Pastor for over 27 years and am Chaplain for the Sheriff's Office up here. Our department finally issued duty weapons, Glock 22's to patrol, 23's to plainclothes, and I believe 27's to the brass.

Also, I have a C&R for around 6 years. Nice to have as it gets many discounts from Midway, Brownells, etc.

Went to school in Memphis, got saved at age 21, went to Bible college in SC, got a DMin and a MRE from Great Plains Divinity School in Sioux Falls. Looking for the Rapture and enjoying the trip!

Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition, brother. Welcome. What did the department do before they issued duty weapons? It's kind of funny the way you wrote it, makes it look like they never had sidearms before. I get up that way occasionally; I've got some clients who are guests of the State in Henning, and I have a murder trial in Ripley in about three weeks. I always swing by Brighton Arms when I'm passing through. I'm a big fan of that place.

Deputies were required to buy their own gun, which led to everything from Rugers to Sigs, 9MM to 45 ACP.
