It is complicated yet also simple Greg. I am sure there are folks here that can explain it a lot better than I can. Just remember JESUS is a Jew and was born one. I think you know that story if you follow the bible. During his time on earth he preached the gospel of Christianity and had built of a great many followers. So many that the leaders in the countries he traveled to and spread the word of GOD began to fear him. The leaders were also able to turn many of his followers against him. You know the rest of that story and how it ended.

Now IMO I think some people have put the blame of what happened to JESUS on the Jews that turned against him. One of his own discipals Judas sold his location where he could be found for 20 pieces of Silver and after realizing what he had done hung himself.

All of that was blamed on the Jewish people for Centuries by most Christians in all countries. It was only a minute number of Jews back then that had turned on JESUS but it was like being guilty by association to the Christians I guess.

I think I am correct in this but the real connecton came with Hitler. It was his goal to kill every Jewish person on earth and he tried and the Holocost was one of the most terrible atrocities to ever happen.

Israel is the only Jewish State/Country left on Earth and I am very glad and proud that the United States is their strongest supporter and ally.

If I have quoted anything not true by mistake please someone correct me!!

I have to disagree a bit here; most atrocities against Jews are committed by atheists or Muslims, who barely recognize Jesus as a mere profit and don't even believe he was crucified.

No, there has to be some other reasoning to the hatred; I speculate that it's just a feud that has been going for eons and nobody truly knows why anymore.

Thanks and the link was very interesting for sure. It is interesting that Jesus was mentioned many times in the Quran. I think that Jesus was crucified because the rulers of the different countries back then feared him because of the miracles he was seen to perform and they feared he would turn the people against them. You are right about 1 thing for sure. The Jewish people have paid dearly for being Jewish but I admire them for their pride and willingness to fight for their beliefs even as many times as they have been beat down........JMHO

Well, Trump said he thought about calling off his Illinois rally but cited the example of the NYSE opening the next day after 9/11. Which of course it didn't.

Course not as tasteless as his joke about his bad hair day being a reason to call off his FFA speech same day I guess.

I don't see why he should cancel, it just makes it a tactic for those to wish to disrupt our lives.

Some of it is plain old envy. Jewish folks hold a LOT of wealth in this country. And some tend to do a lot of business with other Jewish folks. I have a buch of Jewish friends, some with some wealth. I don't know any that have anything against Gentiles like me. It's just a pretty close knit community.

Anyway. If you are an envious turd, I can see how some hate could develop. Same hate that some socialists have for successful people.

I don't really fault the decision, just his newest blatant whopper to support it.

I also have some Jewish friends and grew up in Chicago with a lot more than I have down here. They are more comfortable being located in big cities is why that is where you will find most of them. Now as far as wealth the Jewish people are very smart about money and very good business people. My father had one particular friend while we lived up north and our family always bought our shoes from the mans small shoe store. My father was a smart man for only having a 3rd grade education but he knew a deal when he saw one. One day my mother ask my father why we always bought shoes at the mans store so my father took us shopping. We had already bought our shoes but we went to about 5 other stores not Jewish owned. All of them sold the same shoes we had bought from his friends store and when comparing prices the shoes sold in the other stores were 8 to $10.00 per pair higher in price.

My mother asked my father how come his friend sold his shoes so much cheaper and he said because his friend sold his shoes on the Dime plan.

His shoes were always a lot cheaper but he sold 10 times as many pairs as the other stores and by selling more shoes he made more money by selling in volumn. The Jewish man said where the shoe store down the block may sell 2 pairs of shoes a day and make $3.00 profit per pair he would sell the same pair for $2.00 less per pair but would sell 20+ pairs of shoes. That was called Dime sale. Not make as much off each pair but just sell 10 times as many pairs. That is why the Jewish people seem to always have wealth in their family.Schrewed business people.
