Who's found deer rubs already?

I have to admit I've not found any yet. I've worked a lot this whole year and when I have some time, I'm sometimes doing other things. Usually I don't find many until late Oct. or early Nov.

I have rubs and scrapes. I went to my lease last weekend and got out of the truck walked 20 yards spooked the 3 point that passed opening weekend. He was making a scrape in the logging road.

I was talking with my grandson about getting me a deer for the freezer and he said he would. He said they finally have stopped the poachers from coming on the property. They decided after being arrested 3 different times that is was getting to expensive to keep poaching on my sons land so will have a chance to get some deer this year as they are seeing some on the cameras. They have 4 ffod plots planted and  I asked him about rubs and he said he has not see many rubs yet but he also said he has one deer rubbing  cedar trees in 3 different locations and he is rubbing trunks of 3 and 4 inch Cedars and has them cleaned. He is hoping to see him on one of the cameras as he move two of them in the area of the rubs. He said it has got to be a huge deer as he is rubbing up at least 4 feet up the trees. I ask him to send me any videos he may get of the deer on his cameras and he said he would.

Wow, that does sound like a goodun. I found a cedar a couple years ago that was rubbed like that. I put a camera in the area but, didn't see any bucks that were really good.
